The Boob Diaries #1

I gave up bras about 4 or 5 years ago. My boyfriend actually suggested that I stop wearing bras, and I thought he was crazy! I could never go braless. I didn’t want to walk around with people being able to see my nipples through my shirt! I shortly got over that mindset once I actually went out without a bra for the first time. It was so comfortable, and no one even noticed that I wasn’t wearing one (well,…

hamilton-perkins-earth-bag

I am traveling to LA soon, so I figured I would share what I keep in my Hamilton Perkins Earth Bag. This bag is the perfect size for a short weekend trip. The coolest thing about this bag is the outside is made out of recycled plastic and the inside is made out of recycled billboard vinyl. Of course I’ll be visiting the beach, so a packed a thrifted beach towel and a thrifted swim suit. Since I will only…

Clothing Swap

las-vegas-clothing-swap

Last Saturday, I attended a summer clothing swap hosted by The Sister House Collective (a super cute store containing a highly ethically curated collection of handcrafted items), Salex (an online boutique specializing in high quality recycled fashion), and Minimal Market ( a pop-up company selling waste-free handcrafted goods). The three companies collabed to create one of the most exciting sustainable events I’ve seen in Vegas. I am still aweing over how cute the set up was. Everything was nicely organized…

New Firmoo Glasses

When I first realized that my eyesight was going bad, back in 2008, I refused to wear glasses. I actually had contacts for a year before owning my first pair of glasses. I literally did everything in my power to avoid wearing glasses until absolutely necessary. I even chose to get contacts that I could wear for a month straight. Now, I finally am starting to really like glasses. I was super excited when the company Firmoo reached out to…

How To Learn to Love your Natural Hair

When I first started my natural hair journey, I did not love my hair, nor did I show my hair any love. For years I had been damaging my hair with heat and chemicals. I would literally straighten my hair everyday! After years of neglecting my hair I finally decided to start wearing my hair natural. I did so only through the encouragement of others. At first I hated my hair, however I slowly learned to love it.   Here are…

Boston Vlog + Thrift Trip

Last month I had the opportunity to travel to Boston for a school trip. When we weren’t attending school activities, we were able to explore the city. I wanted to share my trip with you all. Vlogging is new to me, but I find it very enjoyable. The highlight of my trip was definitely thrifting at the Garment District. This was my first time visiting the East Coast and I had a blast. I cannot wait to visit again. Where…
